I just spent a chunk of the money from ‘The Man Who Writes the Dreams’ sales having it assessed by Chris from TFS – Total Fiction Services – that’s something you would usually do to revise and rework a manuscript before publishing, not after, but I wanted to know what I could have done better and use that learning for the book I’m writing at the moment. The last person to spend this much time telling me how I could do better at creative writing was Mr. Barry at Otaki College …17 years ago! Kind of interesting that I’ve never been as excited by constructive feedback on my music as I am right now reading all the improvements I can make to my writing. Point of this post? If you get excited reading how you can do better at something, keep doing that thing! (++ Revelatori for the art)
